Identity of the company

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concerning the products offered via the Alumé webshop. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

Purchase and payment

  • The buyer must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

  • The agreement is established at the moment the order is confirmed via email.

  • Payment is made through the proposed payment methods in the webshop.

  • The products remain the property of Alumé until full payment has been received.

  • If an invoice is not paid by the due date, all outstanding amounts become immediately due.

Delivery and delivery times

  • The risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon delivery.

  • Delivery takes place at the specified address.

  • Alumé currently ships to all countries within the European Union (EU). Different conditions may apply for international deliveries.

  • Custom or personalized products cannot be returned.

Right of withdrawal and return policy

  • The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days after receiving the product without giving any reason.

  • The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging (including plastic foil).

  • Return costs are borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days after receiving the return.

  • Exceptions: custom-made products, products manufactured at the specific request of the customer, and purchases by business customers.

Warranty and complaints

  • All products are covered by a 2-year warranty in accordance with legal provisions.

  • Complaints about visible defects must be reported within 7 days after delivery.

  • The warranty expires if the product is misused or improperly maintained.

Force majeure

  • In the event of force majeure, Alumé is not obligated to fulfill its contractual obligations.

  • Force majeure includes, among other things: natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, transport problems, government measures, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Prices and offers

  • All prices are in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • Shipping costs are stated separately.

  • Offers are valid while supplies last.

Intellectual property rights

  • All content on the website, including brands, logos, images, and texts, is protected by intellectual property rights.

  • Without written permission from Alumé, it is not allowed to copy or use material from the website.

Disputes and applicable law

  • These general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Belgian law.

  • Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Antwerp.

Changes to the general terms and conditions

  • Alumé reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions.

  • The most recent version can always be found on the website.
